About the Practitioner

Coby Dulitzki, MS, LMT

I received my formal massage training in 2013 from the therapeutically-oriented Cortiva Institute outside of Philadelphia, PA before opening a private practice in a West Philadelphia yoga studio. With an interest in holistic wellness, I also trained as an integrative health coach and a group fitness instructor while studying Biology at the Community College of Philadelphia and teaching advanced massage techniques at the Philadelphia School of Massage & Bodywork. In 2018, I transferred to Stanford University to complete my MS & BS in Biology, arriving in Portland in March 2023 to complete my PhD in Health Systems & Policy at OHSU. Throughout my academic pursuits in the health sciences, massage has remained an awe-inspiring source of relaxation and pain-relief for hundreds of clients.

My sessions, highly attuned and tailored to personal preference, often elicit some form of intensity similar to deep-tissue massage (or a deep stretch), but I reject the “no pain, no gain” mentality embodied by many deep-tissue therapists, instead opting to deliver therapeutic techniques in the context of a blissfully relaxing Swedish massage flow. Many of my clients seek my services for stress-relief or to address pain elicited by postural patterns or trauma. I also enjoy working with athletes using massage as a form of recovery, as well as delivering palliative care for a variety of conditions which have included Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, Fibromyalgia, and PTSD.

For fun, I sing with the Portland Gay Men’s Chorus, and I recently started a competitive ballroom dancing team at PSU. I also greatly enjoy the outdoors and have become enamored with the beauty the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

As a queer male I am proud to offer queer- and trauma-informed massage therapy. Join me for a session today!
